KOP CTA Memorial Scholarship Qualifications

 


A graduating high school senior in the year of application submission; or a home
school student with equivalent level of education accepted for a fashion or textile
related program at an institution of higher learning. (Note: An institution of higher
learning is any accredited university, community or junior college, technical
school or trade school).

  • Have sufficient academic credits to be accepted by an institution of higher learning.
  • Have lived within the high school boundaries supported by the KOP CTA during the previous two years.
  • Complete the official scholarship application.

 

Rules and Regulations

 

All applications must be postmarked by May 15 , 2023

 

Applications for scholarship shall include:

  1.   Three letters of recommendation as instructed in the application.

     2.  Official WA High School Transcript

 

     3.  An essay written by the student stating the reasons for the application.

     4. Recipients may attend any accredited institution of higher learning.

 

Scholarships shall only be applied to tuition.

 

When KOP CTA obtains verification that the scholarship recipient has been
accepted to the school of the student’s choice, the funding will be transferred
directly to the school.

 

In the event that a scholarship recipient is not enrolled in the accredited
institution on October 1 of the awarded school year, the scholarship will be
voided and granted to another applicant.
