Service Description

This camp is for students who have taken the Continuing camp. Students will choose and prep fabric and pattern, lay and cut out pattern, and sew with guidance and advice from our most expert volunteers. Students may consult with instructors prior to camp on their project selection. Students can also choose from other kits available, including those for purchase using special fabrics like cork, vinyl, and metal components. Students should bring: water bottle, sewing machine in good working order with the manual (if available) and extra bobbins, and basic sewing supplies. In addition, pattern and fabric of choice, and notions needed for specific project. Student should bring a lunch. A small snack will be provided. We have a limited number of machines available to borrow. Families with more than one student in the camps will be given priority. Please request a machine by making a note on your registration form. There will be a Show & Share on the last day of each camp. Friends and family are welcome to attend to see what the students have been working on all week. Light refreshments will be provided.
