Service Description
This camp is for those students who have completed our Beginner I camp. Students will complete a quick review of the steps on the skills checklist and can complete any of the 5 core projects from the previous year and/or choose a variety of other project kits to sew. Most students stay at this level for 1-2 years. Students should bring: water bottle, basic sewing supplies from the beginner kit -- scissors, seam ripper, pin cushion, pins, tape measure, chalk, seam gauge – and their sewing machine in good working order with the manual (if available) and extra bobbins. Don't forget the power cord and foot pedal. A small snack will be provided. We have a limited number of machines available to borrow. Families with more than one student in the camps will be given priority. Please request a machine by making a note on your registration form. There will be a Show & Share on the last day of each camp. Friends and family are welcome to attend to see what the students have been working on all week. Light refreshments will be provided.
